Well, the Jubilee weekend came and went, and we were busy!
On the Friday night we had our monthly practise with the band, Saturday we danced out with Lepton Morris at the West Hagbourne village do (and taught a load of new people our “March to Gaol” beginners dance, which went down well!)
And then was the Sunday, and the deluge! But, we are professionals (sort of) and we weren’t going to let a little bit of rain spoil our dancing (or even a lot of rain!). Besides, we had an audience to dance for!
Many thanks to our wonderful band, yet again, who even dressed up for the occasion (and were lucky enough to have cover!) and to Icknield Way Morris Men for sharing the misery with us. And special thanks to the Shoulder of Mutton pub for providing a dry place for us to keep warm and get changed in!
And thanks to David White and his nephew Michael for the videos!
